Rock Climbing Courses and Holidays in Spain

The Rock Climbing Company provides rock climbing courses, climbing instruction and adventure holidays in Andalucia in Southern Spain.

We specialise in creating climbing courses and holidays that are personalised to your exact requirements - just let us know what you would like to take away from the course, the amount of time that you have and we will try to arrange it.

Our base is the small town of Villanueva del Rosario which is very close to Antequerra and within easy access of Granada and Malaga airports.

The town is situated in the hills and is surrounded by some great crags - you can see the cave that contains Chilam Bilam, one of the worlds hardest routes, from our house. Plus there is easy access to the excellent routes at El Chorro, Torcal, Loja and Archidona.

Your climbing instructor is Silvia Fitzpatrick; one of the best female climbers in the UK and one of the few females to hold the Mountain Instructor Award.

Silvia was trained as a Modern Languages and Sports Science teacher before becoming a climbing insructor and uses these additional skills to help climber of all levels improve.

There is a profile of Silvia in the magazine Climber from last year.
